Today’s article focuses on solutions for companies involved in logistics, with a special mention of real-world examples. UR FOG, the manufacturer of the “fogging system,” has partnered with the largest security company, which also provides services to the logistics sector.
In Latin America, the biggest challenge emerged at one of their warehouses where thieves bypassed all security measures with ease, including alarms, CCTV, door security systems, window films, and more. However, they were finally stopped by the UR FOG system. As a result, nothing was stolen, and the company contacted all of their global branches, making the installation of UR FOG mandatory.

This is certainly good news for companies managed from abroad. One positive experience led to the implementation of the fogging system in all their branches worldwide. Another specific case involves a client in the Czech Republic, whom we cannot name, who operates in the high-end road bicycle business. The client was repeatedly robbed in a short period, despite having video footage of the thefts. Each robbery was executed within four minutes, and although the central security service accurately identified the alarm, the response team arrived six minutes after the start of the burglary. This means they arrived two minutes after the thieves had already fled.
The result was devastating for the client—significant losses and lost customers due to undelivered products. However, the most critical issue, in our opinion, is the potential cancellation of the insurance policy due to inadequate protection and continuous thefts. The only solution left to prevent further robberies is the “fogging system.” If the intruder can’t see, they can’t enter or steal. The fog is deployed so quickly that the potential thief is first confused, then surrounded by a thick smoke screen, and finally, they can’t even see their hand in front of their face.
For transport logistics companies, the fogging system can be installed in truck trailers. If a thief breaks into the cargo area, the fogging system activates and prevents theft. It’s an ideal solution for night parking in remote locations where the risk of theft is high.
